Personalized care, built to last.
Hope Ave Therapy is a group practice in Waltham, Massachusetts, founded on a simple idea: clients get better care when the people caring for them are supported too.
Our story
Hope Ave Therapy was founded in 2019 by Aaron Kaplan and Será Godfrey-Kaplan. We started with the goal of providing high-quality, personalized mental health care to a diverse range of clients. Our passion for helping others, combined with an understanding of the challenges faced by both clients and therapists in the mental health field and a desire to do better, led us to create Hope Ave.
We noticed that full-time therapists seemed to be habitually undervalued and overworked, so we set out to build a place where our therapists would thrive. A happy, well-supported staff leads to greater job satisfaction and better care for our clients, which is why we prioritize the needs of our staff just as much as those of our clients.
From the beginning we made a conscious decision to grow slowly and sustainably. We never sacrifice quality for quantity, and we always take the time to carefully and thoughtfully match clients with therapists who are a great fit. That personal touch is what sets us apart. We are committed to always learning, growing, and evolving to meet the changing needs of both our clients and our staff.
